Starting September 7, you’ll receive one small step by email each day. The experience runs for three weeks, with simple daily prompts to help you build your book one page at a time.

You’ll create a simple children’s book concept
To keep the focus on art and illustration, we’re removing the story-writing burden.
Your project will be either:
- A beginner counting book
- A beginner ABC book
That means you can spend your creative energy on drawing, design, color, characters, scenes, and page ideas instead of getting stuck trying to write a full story.
Before we begin, choose your subject
Pick one subject for your book:
- Food
- Butterflies
- Cars and trucks
You don’t need to have every page figured out yet. Just choose the subject that sounds the most fun to draw for three weeks.
One small step each day
Each day, you’ll get a clear, doable step by email.
Some days will be for thinking and planning. Some days will be for sketching. Some days will help you make choices about the look and feel of your book.
The goal is steady progress, not perfection.
You’ll be guided like a student in a friendly art class: one prompt, one page, one decision at a time.
You can share your work as you go
If you’d like feedback, you may post your work to social media during the experience.
Share sketches, page ideas, color tests, or finished pieces. This is a great way to stay encouraged, get input, and celebrate progress along the way.
You do not need to have it all figured out today
You just need to show up for the next small step.
